Challenge
Walmart's KDP needed a technology partner to connect independent kirana stores to its replenishment centres. The same platform also had to serve restaurants, tuck shops, general stores and multi-store chains, and it was still running on legacy systems.
Approach
A multi-tenant, multi-vertical POS
One POS served several retail verticals and gave each store its own online storefront. Omnichannel POS-Pro covered billing, inventory, loyalty and CRM.
Multi-cloud for a major partner
I led the full integration and migration: AWS as the core, Azure for Walmart KDP.
Platform and security
I migrated legacy systems to microservices and aligned infrastructure and processes to security standards to achieve ISO 27001.
Forecasting
With the AI team, I built an internal demand-forecasting tool that was shared with Walmart.
